Mercha Exchange is built on trust between shoppers, sellers, and the community.

ME Market helps shoppers discover small businesses, makers, creators, vendors, and independent sellers. Some purchases may be completed directly through a seller’s own website, shop, social page, or order system.

Outside Seller Purchases

Purchases completed through outside seller websites, shops, or order pages are managed directly by the seller.

Sellers are responsible for their own:

Product descriptions
Checkout process
Payments
Shipping
Fulfillment
Refunds
Returns
Exchanges
Customer service
Business policies

Mercha Exchange does not control outside seller checkout systems, shipping timelines, payment processors, or refund policies.

Seller Accountability

Even when a purchase is completed outside of Mercha Exchange, sellers listed on ME Market are expected to communicate professionally, represent their products honestly, and make reasonable efforts to resolve customer concerns.

Sellers are responsible for taking care of their customers and honoring the policies they provide to buyers.

When Mercha Exchange May Step In

If a buyer has already attempted to resolve an issue directly with a seller and has not received a response or reasonable resolution, Mercha Exchange may review the concern.

Mercha Exchange may ask the buyer to provide:

Order details
Proof of purchase
Screenshots or messages
Dates of communication
Description of the issue
Resolution requested

Mercha Exchange may contact the seller and request a response, documentation, proof of shipment, refund confirmation, replacement confirmation, or other information related to the concern.

Platform Action

While Mercha Exchange may not be able to control or reverse purchases made through outside seller websites, we reserve the right to take action regarding a seller’s standing on ME Market.

This may include:

Seller warning
Temporary pause of seller profile
Loss of featured placement
Loss of market/event privileges
Removal from upcoming ME Market Days
Removal from ME Market
Membership review or cancellation

Our goal is to protect the trust of buyers while giving sellers a fair opportunity to respond and resolve concerns.

Sellers are the heart of ME Market, but buyer trust is what helps sellers grow.

Mercha Exchange expects sellers to take that responsibility seriously.
