1. About Mercha Exchange and ME Market

Mercha Exchange is building ME Market as a seller-first platform designed to help small businesses, makers, creators, vendors, service providers, and independent sellers get discovered online and in person.

ME Market may include seller profiles, seller directory listings, website or shop links, seller interest forms, membership opportunities, promotional features, ME Market Days information, and future marketplace options.

2. Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only.

You may not use this website to submit false information, interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse forms, copy content without permission, or engage in activity that harms Mercha Exchange, ME Market, sellers, buyers, partners, or the community.

3. Seller Profiles and Outside Seller Links

ME Market may feature seller profiles or directory listings that include links to outside seller websites, shops, social media pages, order forms, or third-party platforms.

Purchases completed through outside seller websites, shops, social pages, order forms, or third-party platforms are handled directly by the individual seller.

Mercha Exchange does not control outside seller checkout systems, payment processors, shipping, fulfillment, returns, refunds, exchanges, customer service, product quality, or seller policies.

Buyers should review each seller’s policies before making a purchase.

4. No Mercha Transaction Fee on Outside Website Sales

If a shopper discovers a seller through ME Market and completes a purchase through the seller’s own outside website, shop, social page, order form, or third-party platform, Mercha Exchange does not take a transaction fee from that outside sale.

5. No Listing Fees

ME Market does not charge a separate listing fee for sellers to be included in the seller directory or to have a seller profile as part of their membership.

Membership fees, booth fees, optional featured promotions, sponsorship opportunities, and future ME Market checkout fees may apply depending on what a seller chooses to use.

6. Future ME Market Checkout

In the future, Mercha Exchange may offer ME Market checkout for sellers who do not have their own online checkout or who want to sell directly through the platform.

If a seller chooses to use ME Market checkout, additional terms may apply, including transaction fees, payment processing fees, payout terms, refund rules, order responsibilities, shipping terms, tax responsibilities, and customer service expectations.

Any applicable fees or terms will be clearly explained before a seller chooses to use ME Market checkout.

7. Seller Memberships

ME Market may offer seller membership options.

Seller memberships may include benefits such as seller profile opportunities, directory placement, website or social links, visibility support, monthly visibility snapshots, discounted booth pricing when available, early access to event opportunities, featured seller opportunities, or promotional support.

Membership benefits may vary by membership level and may change as ME Market grows.

Seller membership does not guarantee sales, buyer traffic, revenue, profits, event approval, specific website clicks, social media results, event attendance, or business growth.

8. Membership Billing and Cancellation

Seller membership billing, cancellation, refund requests, annual membership terms, and renewal expectations are explained in the Seller Membership Agreement and Cancellation Policy.

By joining a seller membership, sellers agree to follow that policy along with these Terms of Service and all applicable ME Market policies.

9. ME Market Days and Events

ME Market Days are marketplace events created to help sellers connect with shoppers in person.

Submitting interest or applying for an event does not guarantee vendor approval or booth space.

Event participation may depend on available space, category balance, seller eligibility, deadlines, venue requirements, event rules, and Mercha Exchange approval.

Vendors are responsible for following all ME Market Days Vendor Rules, venue rules, applicable permits, licenses, insurance requirements, tax responsibilities, health and safety rules, and legal requirements related to their products or services.

10. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for operating their own businesses professionally.

This includes accurate business information, honest product or service descriptions, clear pricing, professional communication, responsible fulfillment, appropriate customer service, and compliance with applicable laws, taxes, permits, licenses, and regulations.

Sellers are responsible for making sure they have the legal right to sell or promote their products, services, designs, images, logos, names, content, and materials.

11. Prohibited Items and Conduct

Sellers may not list, promote, display, or sell counterfeit, stolen, illegal, unsafe, misleading, hateful, unauthorized, or prohibited items.

Sellers must follow the Prohibited Items Policy and Seller Standards.

Mercha Exchange reserves the right to review, restrict, pause, remove, or deny seller listings, profiles, event participation, promotional placement, or membership when needed to protect buyers, sellers, the platform, or the community.

12. Buyer Trust

Mercha Exchange values buyer trust.

If a buyer has attempted to resolve an issue directly with a seller and has not received a response or reasonable resolution, Mercha Exchange may review the concern under the Buyer Trust Policy.

While Mercha Exchange may not be able to reverse, refund, or control purchases made through outside seller websites or third-party platforms, Mercha Exchange may take action regarding a seller’s standing on ME Market.

13. Accuracy of Information

Mercha Exchange works to provide accurate and helpful information, but we do not guarantee that all website content, seller information, pricing, event details, availability, links, or descriptions will always be complete, current, or error-free.

We may update website content, pages, policies, membership details, pricing, event information, or terms as needed.

14. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites, seller websites, social media pages, payment platforms, partner websites, or other outside resources.

Mercha Exchange is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, policies, products, services, payment systems, or actions of third-party websites or sellers.

Visitors and buyers use outside links at their own discretion.

15. Intellectual Property

The Mercha Exchange name, ME Market name, logos, branding, website content, written materials, graphics, images, designs, slogans, page copy, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Mercha Exchange unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute, or use Mercha Exchange or ME Market content, branding, or materials without written permission.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any images, logos, product photos, descriptions, designs, or content they provide to Mercha Exchange.

16. Permission to Use Seller-Provided Content

By submitting business information, product photos, logos, descriptions, website links, social links, or other seller-provided content to Mercha Exchange, sellers give Mercha Exchange permission to use that content for ME Market directory listings, seller profiles, promotional materials, website features, social media, email updates, event promotion, and marketplace marketing.

Sellers should only submit content they own or have permission to use.

17. No Professional Advice

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes.

Mercha Exchange does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, licensing, insurance, or professional business advice.

Sellers are responsible for consulting qualified professionals regarding their own business, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, legal requirements, and compliance obligations.

18. Limitation of Responsibility

Mercha Exchange is not responsible for losses, damages, disputes, claims, costs, missed sales, lost profits, shipping issues, refund disputes, customer service issues, product defects, event attendance, seller performance, third-party website issues, or outside seller transactions except where required by applicable law.

Mercha Exchange’s role in Phase 1 is primarily to help sellers gain visibility, provide seller profile opportunities, share links, support marketplace promotion, and develop future ME Market opportunities.

19. Changes to These Terms

Mercha Exchange may update these Terms of Service at any time.

Updates may be posted on this website. Continued use of the website, membership participation, seller profile participation, or event involvement after updates are posted may be considered acceptance of the updated terms.
