Food & Beverage Truck Vendors

ME Market Days by Mercha Exchange may include food and beverage truck vendors as part of future community-focused market events.

Food and beverage vendors help create a welcoming event experience for shoppers, sellers, and the local community. ME Market Days are designed to bring together small businesses, vendors, food and drink options, and community shopping in an organized and promoted setting.

Food & Beverage Vendor Opportunities

Food and beverage truck vendors may apply to participate in future ME Market Days events. Approved food and beverage vendors may be placed in designated event areas based on event layout, space needs, traffic flow, and park or city requirements.

Food and beverage vendor spaces are reviewed separately from standard vendor booths because trucks and trailers may require more space, special placement, parking access, customer line space, power planning, and additional event coordination.

Flat Event Fee Only

ME Market Days does not charge an application fee and does not take a percentage of food or beverage vendor sales.

Approved food and beverage vendors pay a flat event spot fee only.

Food and beverage vendors keep their event sales and are responsible for their own payment collection, menu pricing, permits, licenses, setup, service, and cleanup.

Possible Food & Beverage Vendor Fees

Food and beverage vendor fees may vary by event, location, space needs, and event layout.

Possible event pricing may include:

Standard food or beverage truck spot: $100
ME member or returning partner rate: $75
Premium corner or high-traffic food/beverage spot: $125

Final pricing will be confirmed before payment is requested.

Food & Beverage Vendor Requirements

Food and beverage vendors are responsible for meeting all applicable health, city, county, park, fire, insurance, and event requirements.

Food and beverage vendors may be responsible for providing:

Required permits and licenses
Proof of insurance if required
Menu and pricing
Truck, trailer, cart, or approved setup
Generator or approved power source if electricity is not available
Trash control around their service area
Safe customer line flow
Setup and cleanup of their assigned area
Compliance with local health and event rules

Electricity is not guaranteed and must be requested and approved in advance.

Event Layout and Placement

ME Market Days manages the event layout and vendor placement. Food and beverage trucks may be placed in designated areas to support shopper flow, safety, line space, and overall event experience.

Placement requests may be considered but are not guaranteed.

Application and Approval

All food and beverage vendor applications are reviewed before approval. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, event participation, placement, exclusivity, or future booking.

Approved food and beverage vendors will receive additional event details, payment instructions, setup expectations, and any required next steps before the event.
