Event Crew Opportunities


ME Market Days by Mercha Exchange are community-focused pop-up market events designed to bring together small businesses, vendors, food and drink trucks, and local shoppers.

As we prepare for future ME Market Days events, we may need dependable event helpers to assist with setup, vendor support, check-in, event flow, and teardown.

Event Helper Opportunity

ME Market Days events are planned to run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Event helpers may be needed from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to help before, during, and after the event.

Event helper duties include:

Helping set up tents, tables, chairs, signage, booth numbers, and vendor areas
Assisting with vendor check-in and booth placement
Helping keep the event area organized and welcoming
Refilling or distributing vendor water as needed
Supporting the ME Market Days check-in area
Helping with teardown, cleanup, and loading after the event

Pay

Event helpers are paid $25 per hour.

A typical event helper shift may be approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on event needs, location, and setup requirements.

ME Market Days event helpers are paid after completed event shifts. Pay is typically issued the next business day after hours are reviewed and confirmed.

Payment Information

Selected event helpers may be asked to provide their preferred payment method before the event. Payment options may include Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, direct deposit, or company check, depending on the payment process used by Mercha Exchange.

Payment details will only be collected from selected event helpers. Event helpers are responsible for providing accurate payment information. Mercha Exchange is not responsible for payment delays caused by incorrect or incomplete payment details.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for reliable, friendly, hardworking people who are comfortable being on their feet, working outdoors, lifting and carrying event supplies, and helping create a positive experience for vendors and shoppers.

Event helper positions may be limited and scheduled based on event needs.
